Peggy Sue --- formerly known as Peggy Sue & the Pirates --- is one of my favourite folky girl/ girlish boy groups. A sort of spunked up, English [slightly art schooled] version of The Be Good Tanyas, they implement anything from spoons to kazoos to accordions with an easygoing nature and great harmonies. The band holds a pretty little playlist from previously released singles/ EPs and are currently working on their first studio album!
As a sucker for the folk take on pop, I thoroughly enjoyed this cover of Missy Elliot's "All In My Grill". Its all about dude in the back.
