Current dream accessory would have to be this exquisite bejeweled Erickson Beamon piece titled "Burning Desert". Ooh lala.. it speaks beyond the patent 'statement necklace'. Garnished with Swarvoski crystals and an array of colored glass beads... it all alludes back to timeless, old-world charm with hits of tribal princess.

Karen Erickson and Vicki Beamon have always created incredible pieces merging classic grandma's jewels with inventive juxtapositions and graceful eclecticism. What solidifies the mint of this design is that I sort of feel that its more than a necklace, as if wearing it could only bring good things. Perhaps an outlet of sub human secret powers? A sorcerer's keeper of secrets? Maybe an entrapment of all things rich and royal, wise and true. Dream, dream. Whatever may be.. this piece is a want and a wish to be had.
