This song has personal anthem potential; a track to shift your life from one paradigm to the next. Or in the very least... make you want to flail around like a high flying teen at a house party. The London based band, Scanners, provide an appropriate dose of seditious dance r a w k. Much compared to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Kim Gordon on her Sonic ways, the band clearly feeds on a similar switchblade songstress attitude. Strong female vocals and raw punches of sound come together successfully– no fluff here. And I've got to say: lead singer, Sarah Daly, bears undeniable resemblance to a young Patti Smith. Which comforts me for some reason. Good song, good video.
